Welcome to Mercer Mobile. These Terms and Conditions explain the terms that apply when you use our website, contact us, request service, schedule an appointment, submit information, receive communications from us, or use our mobile small engine and equipment repair services.

By using our website, submitting a service request, scheduling service, or communicating with Mercer Mobile, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Services

Mercer Mobile provides mobile small engine, lawn mower, outdoor power equipment, and related equipment repair services. Services may include diagnostics, repair estimates, parts replacement, maintenance, pickup/drop-off coordination when applicable, appointment scheduling, invoice/payment links, and customer support.

Service availability may depend on your location, technician availability, weather, parts availability, equipment condition, and other factors.

2. Service Requests and Appointments

When you request service, you may be asked to provide information such as your name, phone number, email address, service address or location, equipment details, photos, videos, and a description of the problem.

Appointment dates and time windows are estimates and may change due to weather, traffic, job length, parts availability, emergency repairs, or other scheduling issues. Mercer Mobile will make reasonable efforts to communicate delays or changes.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that Mercer Mobile will accept the job, complete the repair, or provide service at a specific time.

3. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information about your equipment, location, contact details, and repair issue. You are responsible for ensuring that the equipment is accessible, safe to inspect, and available at the scheduled service time.

You are also responsible for disclosing known hazards, including but not limited to fuel leaks, electrical issues, unsafe storage areas, aggressive animals, locked gates, unstable equipment, or other unsafe conditions.

Mercer Mobile may refuse or stop service if conditions are unsafe, the equipment is inaccessible, the requested work is outside our scope, or payment issues exist.

4. Diagnostics, Estimates, and Repairs

Diagnostic findings and estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection. Some issues may not be visible until after further testing, disassembly, or repair work begins.

Estimates are not guarantees unless specifically stated in writing. Additional repairs, parts, labor, or return visits may be required.

Mercer Mobile will make reasonable efforts to explain recommended repairs before completing major additional work.

5. Mobile Service Charge, Labor, Parts, and Payment

Mercer Mobile may charge a mobile service fee, diagnostic fee, labor charges, parts costs, and other applicable charges.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due when the invoice is issued or when service is completed. Payment methods may include cash, card, online payment link, or other approved methods.

Customer is responsible for approved parts, ordered parts, labor performed, diagnostic time, and service fees, even if the customer chooses not to complete the full repair.

Returned payments, chargebacks, or unpaid invoices may result in additional fees, collection activity, refusal of future service, or other remedies allowed by law.

6. Parts and Availability

Parts availability, pricing, and delivery times may vary. Mercer Mobile is not responsible for manufacturer delays, discontinued parts, shipping delays, incorrect third-party listings, or unavailable parts.

If parts must be ordered, a deposit or prepayment may be required.

7. Photos, Videos, and Customer-Submitted Information

You may choose to send photos or videos of your equipment, parts, damage, serial numbers, model numbers, or repair issues. Mercer Mobile may use this information to evaluate, estimate, document, or complete the requested service.

Customer-submitted photos and videos will not be used for advertising, social media, or marketing without permission.

8. Warranties and Limitations

Mercer Mobile may provide limited warranty coverage on certain labor or installed parts when stated on the invoice or in writing.

Warranty coverage does not apply to unrelated issues, misuse, abuse, lack of maintenance, customer-supplied parts, pre-existing damage, fuel contamination, normal wear and tear, manufacturer defects, improper operation, or repairs performed by someone else after Mercer Mobile completes the work.

Mercer Mobile does not guarantee that old, heavily worn, neglected, modified, or unsafe equipment can be fully repaired.

9. Customer-Supplied Parts

Mercer Mobile may choose whether to install customer-supplied parts. If customer-supplied parts are used, Mercer Mobile is not responsible for the quality, fitment, performance, warranty, or failure of those parts.

Labor charges may still apply if customer-supplied parts are incorrect, defective, incomplete, or do not resolve the issue.

10. Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Please notify Mercer Mobile as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Mercer Mobile may charge a fee for missed appointments, late cancellations, inaccessible equipment, incorrect addresses, or situations where we arrive but cannot reasonably perform the requested service.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Mercer Mobile is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of use, lost profits, lost business, or equipment downtime.

Mercer Mobile’s total liability for any claim related to services, website use, communications, or these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

16. No Guarantee of Results

Mercer Mobile will make reasonable efforts to diagnose and repair equipment, but we do not guarantee that every issue can be fixed, that parts will be available, or that repaired equipment will remain free from future issues.
